Match Report:

Good start to the season. Excellent individual performances all round, but team showed signs of raggedness when early-season fatigue set in during second half.

New boys (Josh, Dylan and Jack) settled in well and made excellent contributions.

Louis awarded Man-of-the-Match.

Match Report: With nearly a Full Squad to pick from Team Choice was proving difficult,

However to start the line up was

All Four of the new players are starting to click with the team, with Josh creating a great partnership with Alex S in the centre of defence. Dylan is becoming the play maker in the middle of the pitch.

Not long into the Game, it was apparent that Nathan was suffering with knock to the chest and was replaced with Jack,

Being a tight game not many openings, until the ball came to Louis who found himself in space 25yards from goal, no other option than to let one go, GOAL,

Jared was bossing the left hand side,, everything going through him, with many chance coming into Jack and Corey, how could this remain just one goal up,

Then Jacks Away and yes GOAL, Two Nil,

With yet again perfect passing game from Dylan, Jared, Lious, and Bradley across the middle, Ball gets fed through virtually all them up to Corey, who shakes off the defender and runs it throughto the goalie with the outside of his boot down into the far corner, GOAL, Three nil

Half time comes along, ,

Many of the players looking very tired, Defence has been solid,

So with a little note to Alex S that he needs to keep it strong and not go wandering up front, we set out with a few changes for the second half,

Alot tighter second half, but yet again the guys kept the passing game going and started to win every ball, another goal couldnt be far off, with a few chances falling and fading, ball comes in and pinging around no one is getting to it, then up pops Eddie at the far post and GOAL, four nil,

Wave upon wave keeps going, no result looks like we can take the foot off and with a couple of changes should see us through to the end,

So off comes the captain Alex S, and Charlie P moves into (CB) with Dylan replacing him in the middle of the park, Louis and Nathan come off With Corey and Jack coming back on,

Time ticking away and the guys are enjoying thier football, working to well with each other.

Two mins to go, so one final change, Bring off Jared, who has run every inch of the pitch, with all the players clapping him off as they have all seen that this has been one of his best games, well done Jared, on goes Bradley,

Within a min, ball goes forward to the box bounces out towards the side Charlie B and defender go after it, then Up in the air goes Charlie, Pen written all over it, Ref calls it,

Few chats with the guys and Bradley is handed the Ball, he keeps saying he never scores, so over to you Brad, GOAL, Yes fires it in the back of the net,

Final whistle goes and the results stands,FIVE nil,

Match Report: Henry was man-of-the-match.

Match Report:

Match Report: The wind and rain howled around from early in the morning,

And yes the texts and IM's started, " are we playing" yes the reply came,"but it peeing down"  its only rain, blimey what would our lot do if it was really raining,

Quick call to Hanslope to double check and yes still on pitch fine and its only rain,

On arriving at the ground, perfect playing surface, apart from this has to be the smallest pitch in the league,

Slight change of team,

Louis drops into Right back with Eddie given a start on left of Midfield.

Hanslope not lost at home, this was going to be tough considering the wind and rain,

We win the toss and dylan elects to kick with the wind,

A bit of a deadlock to begin, but we are seeing alot of the ball especially on the left, Louis has time and able to distribute it out pushing up as a wing back.

Jack picks it up and straight forward from defence Jared running onto it in the box and gets dragged down "PEN" no question,

Corey jumps and says mine, OH NO, Over to Jared, Was he up for it, only one way to find out, Bam, back of the net, oh yes he was, 1 nil, Southside,

More and more pressure on thier back four, Corners kept coming, so narrow we just didnt get out eye in to the distance, but break, Jared through, "GOAL" 2 nil Southside, ,

Half Time,

Game not won, and now against the wind,

We look a bit slopey at the back, but after five mins we get it together, everyone battleing against the wind, and going for it, what an improvement,

But Wait, ,Jack your hand is not suposed to handle the ball, and not in the box, PEN, and not to us,

Tom looks calm in goal, making himself look big, Great strike, and WHAT A SAVE<  out for a corner,

Ball getting stuck in the middle of the park, but we battle and hassle the ball free, keeps going up to Jared, corey supporting on the right, they have the insight on beating this defence,

Ball breaks through looking like the goalie is going to get it, and how but who cares Jared hassles hassles and hassles, it drops and BANG , his hatrick our third,

Whoops, we slip slightly has they pull one back, never mind, we still are stong,

more on the Right side now, Corey keeps getting past and getting it in, but this time, he takes a strike, low and powerful, GOAL, ,4 - 1

Now time to battle down the hatches and keep strong, everyone is first to the ball, yes they break through but Tom is stopping everything,

Final whistle blows and yes another win under our belts..

Match Report: What can one say a Total Football performance,

After a shaky start on understanding a very good offside line, the boys were pinging through the perfect through balls from all areas,

too many highlights to mention, but Louis was inch perfect with his passing and domination on the left, with Corey strong as ever over on the right,

Front two of Jared and Nathan in the first half, at first they struggled with the offside trap, then let rip with reading the play and with the passes coming in from the sides they were through,

Cetnre two of Dylan and Brad controlling the middle of the park, and Dylan came into his own with releasing the ball forward at the correct time and at the correct pace to find the wide channels,

The back were strong as ever and looked a complete outfit of defence,

Second half saw Charlie B come on and what a change of player, he ruled the front line with Louis changing over to partner him the pair of them ripped through the defence,.

Match Report: Another Great Victory against the top of the div above us,

Whats happens when we play football,

First half 6 - 0 up we used the space and fed the ball forward with ease,

Second half, they came back at us but still remained strong and when we could played football,

Special mention goes to Dylan, Corey, Nathan, Jack, but the whole team looked and played as one.

Match Report: A game of HIGHS and LOWS,

Even though we won 8 - 0 we need to learn how to put into practice what we take from training, and use these games as get on top and show the world what great footballers you all are,

Said that, i so impressed with the spell in the first half where we showed we could pass the ball around at speed and one touch, great guys,

and the full backs Jack and Alex what can one say, you also showed what was asked of you by not only pulling out to the side straight away when Tom had the ball widening the game, you also read the game and slotted through the ball down the wings as asked, Well Done,

Jared, Corey, again you both used the width and worked well changing and keeping the ball alive,

Guys, you are going great guns, but please think about what the game is about, its not just about getting goals, its about each and everyone of you to improve and show how you can work as a unit and play true football.

What a great day, after a very rocky start the boys pulled together at last and got all the way to the final, One step too far again, but Hey Runners up again, onto Willen now and lets really work hard and get that first win
